Hey! I’m Serena Cai, a designer at Carnegie Mellon University studying Design and Human Computer Interaction.
I care deeply about telling stories that resonate with people through interaction, whether that manifests in interfaces, technology, or visual design.
Previously, I was a Product Design intern at Relativity, a leading eDiscovery software company, where I created and refined features to speed up digital document review, and I've also created brand and app experiences for various startups. For my personal & freelance work, I've designed event identities, marketing collateral, and merchandise for various organizations.
I'm currently working on a passion project where I'm mapping the stories behind the growth of Berlin's techno scene following the fall of the Berlin wall.
