Hey! I’m Serena Cai, a designer at Carnegie Mellon University studying Design and Human Computer Interaction.
I care deeply about telling stories that resonate with people through interaction, whether that manifests in interfaces and creative technology or editorial design.
Previously, I was a Product Design intern at Relativity, a leading eDiscovery software company, where I created and refined features to speed up digital document review, and I've also created brand and app experiences for various startups. For my personal & freelance work, I've designed event identities for a car reveal, marketing collateral for an entrepreneurship organization, and merchandise for various organizations.
I'm currently working on a passion project where I'm mapping the stories behind the growth of Berlin's techno scene following the fall of the Berlin wall. My greatest inspiration always comes from learning the unique stories that come from the people around me, so feel free to reach out! Love having awesome conversations with people :)
